Cool story for that guy, but this is the part of the MLB draft I don’t get. Shouldn’t they dump some rounds if it comes down to drafting guys who haven’t played since HS?
Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.

A few years ago, the Dodgers drafted UW QB Brooks Bollinger
And the Badgers haven’t had a baseball team since about 1990.

Just this year, the Angels drafted Jake Locker
who is the starting QB at the University of Washington. Locker played baseball in high school, but hasn’t played in the last 2 year while at Washington.
He got taken in the 10th round this year and thinks he’ll sign with the Angels and continue to QB Washington.
