Yes, but they keep saying ball will be played

"maybe" 1 hr to 90 minutes
but it’s touch and go
Live coverage here in Okinawa, Japan
with J-Sports, but without Dome against LHP… and rain delayed….
Hey, what's up dragon?

WGN said they'll stay with postgame coverage
instead of Matlock theatre.

No, I'm dead serious...
I was halfway through a fanpost when I realized I was too pissed to write…

Do not let the sun set on your anger, preacherman.
Fanpost away.
This line from a movie, television show or other piece of popular culture pretty much sums up my entire personality.
LOL good stuff...

To me, it's not that he's arrogant...
He’s so…unprofessional, long-tongued, and just stupid…

.500
Cubs is 30-30, and my Dragons is 29-29-1 so far, without ace pitcher and cleanup hitter of last year…
Not very good year and hope something good happen in playoff…
Well the good news is they aren't worse
Can the Dragons still go on a run or are they destined to be a .500 team?
Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.
destined
as we lost ace Kenshin Kawakami to Atlanta, lost Tyron Woods (clean up first baseman) and Nori Nakamura (clean up third baseman). There are a couple of new comer and booming young player, but we lost a couple of good pitcher with injury. No good so far.

it was 15th inning
until some years ago, but now it was shortened as they started playoff games before Japan Series.

Is it in English, or Japanese?
Ladies and gentlemen! It's 1985 all over again, but this time the offense goes to hell!
Both
English on sub-channel and the episode is “The Light of Zetar”

do not mock
the Shat.
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

I will say...
that Dragon has a pretty nice TV. Look at the color and clarity! :)

Capt. Kirk is very "excited" to see this game as y'all can tell....

is that from star trek?
I don’t recognize it at all, and I though I’d seen all the episodes.

Yes it is. I forgot from which episode. You can do a search on YouTube
for “Kirk” and “Stalactite” and see part of the episode.

Paul Sullivan and a high camera angle do not mix well.
It makes him look like Frodo’s nerdy brother.

WGN is showing Lou's pre-game session with reporters...
somebody asks Lou if he thinks he needs to show some fire and Lou interrupts and says “Whoa whoa whoa… why do I need to show fire? I’m not a dragon.”
Damn straight. We already have a Dragon and he’s busy watching Star Trek. Next question.

BOOOOOOOO
No make up date? Ummm…tomorrow? It’s not like there’s a lot of options. Not that the weather is supposed to be good tomorrow either
Tomorrow would be good.
I need to be at work late, and then I can at least see ONE game.

i KNOW, right
many WGN games just happen to be getting rained out…sux for a cubs fan in mississippi
Boston here.
It’s not much better, which is why I finally broke down and an online subscription.

I was told by a reliable source that they would be playing tonight!
As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

Honestly
I have a hard time caring. I hate this series. It brings out the worst in Chicago.

Your post and your quote
go together like peanut butter and anchovies.
heh.
Well. Maybe. But this series really makes a lot of people look terrible, on both sides of the aisle, and it increases the Crawdad attacks. I’d just as soon play the Royals.

On the bright side, Indians are still ahead of the Brewers, 2-1, bottom of 4th.
Somebody from the Indians hit a home run… can’t quite remember who it was… but it was his 13th of the year… and his 47th RBI…. and he’s now hitting .282… hmm….
Lou Brown: "My kinda team, Charlie, my kinda team..."
We sure can
I was all about acquiring a left handed bat and using DeRosa’s money to do so. But now it is slowly becoming evident that DeRosa may be in his prime and last year was not a fluke. The guy is on pace for BIG numbers this year. We need him back. Heck, play him at SS when Rami comes back.
Does anyone think we would actually make a move for him?
DeRomantics...all of you! :-)

just announced WGN
is getting the game tomorrow…didn’t THINK they had it previously, so there’s a silver lining
don't count your silver linings before they're mined just yet...
WGN has all the games for the series, as does CSN. They’re just alternating the announcing teams.
Len & Bob were on WGN tonight and scheduled for CSN tomorrow and back to WGN for Thursday. So if they stick to their original schedule, WGN will have the White Sox announcers. Insert your own joke here…
Lou Brown: "My kinda team, Charlie, my kinda team..."
oh i don't care if it's wimpy and hawk
or WHOMEVER they have over there in the sox booth…i just want free baseball live and in HD…
(but i’d much rather hear from len and bob than someone screamin’, “you can putit on tha boooooard….yes!”)
All clear out in Wheaton
I think it will be another hour until its stops raining around Wrigley/Lakeview area. I really do not see why they couldn’t start it at 9:30 and push back the game tomorrow
VERY surprised they didn't keep the viewing audience in suspense
and sell all the beer (uh-huh) concessions they could for about 90 minutes to 2 hours…that’s what less classy organizations do; however, those are prolly the ones that never sell out…and the cubs don’t really need to worry about that
Hey, all.
The rain was horrendous. Just got home. Dempster will face Danks tomorrow. Zambrano will go Thursday, Wells to the pen for a couple days.

nope - keeps him right on schedule
He was originally set for Thursday just to give him another day of rest with Wells going tomorrow. Not sure why Z just didn’t go tomorrow but they decided instead to get Demp back on schedule and Z on Thursday.
Lou Brown: "My kinda team, Charlie, my kinda team..."
That's exactly what I've been thinking.
Every rainout that’s made up after the ASB is a game that Aramis can play in.

Seems like there have been a lot of games like that
ppd. until the second half. That’s good for the Cubs, even though it will result in fewer days off.

Dumb call!
The sky cleared by 9pm, now the Cubs will either have to sacrifice a day off when they’ll need one or play a doubleheader. FWIW I’ll lose all respect for the Hall of Fame if they let players in who are both liars and cheats. If they let Bonds* or Sosa* in why not Pete Rose? All he did was gamble and lie.
Pete Rose also played the game right.
Too bad he didn’t have enough respect for the game not to gamble and lie.
