Chicago Cubs Baseball is
ON THE AIR!
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

Hot damn... iPhone MLB At Bat Update...
… will now include live video! Just jumped in to the app to listen to the game at work and it claims that after the iPhone software upgrade today, a new version of the app will be released with streaming live video of the games. Incredible.

Scheduled cubs games:
Thursday 6/18 vs Sox
Friday 6/19 vs Indians
Saturday 6/20 vs Indians
Monday 6/22 vs Braves
"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end"
Keep in mind this app was like $10.
Audio (home and away for both games) and now video? Better than any other way to get them, IMHO.

Fair enough
but he is certainly not the prototypical leadoff hitter with a high on-base percentage I guess is what Im going for. At .290 I guess I shouldnt say he is a liability at leadoff, but I still dont think thats his optimal spot.
Why? So he can hit .100 in the 3-4-5 holes?
Leadoff is the only place he has any proven record of success. What he needs is a series off to put his head back together.

Brutal
Unless Soriano figures out he’s going to have to change his approach at the plate, he’s going to continue to be an albatross for this club. Right now, his AB’s are a joke. You don’t have to throw strikes to him and this fictional "hot streak’ that some believe is right around the corner gets further and further away with every AB. Right now, he’s not even a legitimate offensive threat and taking into consideration his frequent refusal to hustle, he’s a huge, huge liability all the way around for this team. Hopefully Von Joshua can get through to him because it’s pretty clear that he’s not willing to correct this on his own.
Who needs a stinkin' tag line? What are they for anyway?
I don't doubt that he'll...
Have another hot streak. But the problem is it seems like hits hots streaks are getting shorter and far in-between, while his suck streaks are more prolonged.

Yep
I’m the fool. I’m the one that can’t see the forest through the trees here. Blame it me…I’m not hitting .225. Blind loyalty is hilarious.
Who needs a stinkin' tag line? What are they for anyway?
I wouldnt call it blind loyalty
We just have a little more faith that they can turn it on. You on the other hand have blind pessimism. Which is quite obnoxious.
"Every player should be accorded the privilege of at least one season with the Chicago Cubs. That's baseball as it should be played - in God's own sunshine. And that's really living."
Would you describe yourself as "disloyal"?
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.
No, he's just not living in a fantasy world like some people are.
"He can't hit, he can't field, he can't run—all he can do is beat you."
I dont know who here thinks this is the best team in the MLB
But we dont think its the worst. How is that fantasy world. And do you really believe the whole team is gonna be this bad offensively all year?
"Every player should be accorded the privilege of at least one season with the Chicago Cubs. That's baseball as it should be played - in God's own sunshine. And that's really living."
I don't think they're the worst either.
But you can’t blast a guy for getting down after watching Sorry Sori whiff again!!
"He can't hit, he can't field, he can't run—all he can do is beat you."
No, Im mad at Sori as well
But I dont believe anyone wants to read extreme negativity about something we are all aware of

there would be a bat in his hand.

I am getting pretty negative myself about this team.
But I can’t say that this game is over because we’re only down by two. Or that we will lose the rest of the week. You just don’t know that. And neither do i for that matter.

You know that guy who is really cool
when everything is going his way, but turns into a whining, cranky human complaint machine at the first sign of hardship?
That guy sucks.
Everybody happy now?

stop yourself and think of these last two ABs.
