Hi guys

No mass suicides please. It’s just baseball. Blame it on Hendry and move on.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

Nice tag line

Only a game and a half until it’s accurate.

NOT!

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

i’m sure it’s been discussed, but i just got here. for 3G iphone users, update to OS 3.0 and get MLB at bat. mlb is now streaming LIVE VIDEO of a couple games per day to your fone. it is sick.

Absolutely nuts

This coaching staff and scouting staff has completely lost it. Every team in this league has been knocking the bat out of Gordon Beckham’s hands since he’s been up. So what do the Cubs do? Continue to pitch him away so he can handle something.

Even worse, apparently the cure for Marmol’s control issues is to flip sliders rather than throwing them. Cool. Make him less effective than he has been.

This team is absolutely, unequivocally dead in the water. Done. Over. Finished.

Who needs a stinkin' tag line? What are they for anyway?

by krummy12 on Jun 18, 2009 3:18 PM CDT reply actions

I dont know what there is to do

This team just does not have it, they look dead to me, they have no life and Lou needs to go, he should just quit

by Cubz24 on Jun 18, 2009 3:21 PM CDT reply actions

I don't know either

but someone has to so something. If Lou says after the game “What can you do?” he should be fired.

by sue369 on Jun 18, 2009 3:24 PM CDT up reply actions

I love Lou but this year not so much

and that “what can you do?” line drives me insane. That was basically the team attitude after they blew it last year. Inexcusable.

by Emelie on Jun 18, 2009 3:48 PM CDT up reply actions

Lou doesnt give a damn

And we have so many holes on this team its hard to say where to begin…

by Cubz24 on Jun 18, 2009 3:25 PM CDT up reply actions

It almost seems like he wants to be fired

Why keep playing Sori and Dome day after day when they are 0-for-the-last-month (or close to it)? Try RJ a little, try Hoff, try anybody! But to just do the same things again and again. To leave Z in when the game is close and he walks Beckham? Why? Lou’s seeming lack of interest is not a good thing for the team. We seem to be settling in as a below-.500 ballclub.

i'm at a lost for words

As bad as 06

every bit of it

no way out either……….3 outfielders all of which would not be taken by ANY team in MLB and just think…….we have these assholes for at least 2 more years………5 more of the utterly and completely useless SOB in LF. Seriously………not one of these guys would be picked up by anyone if they were DFA’D today……….not one team would even give them a 2nd thought given their contracts. 09,10 and 2011 seasons are all over. This is the most abysmal job by a GM in the modern HISTORY of baseball. There is no hope for this team……..if you really believe this team can be good…………you are so so wrong.
