CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN!

Who’d thunk it after the first 7-1/2 innings? This can be the start of the BIG TURNAROUND we’ve all been waiting for.

I have never

been so frikkin stunned!

Wow

Maybe this will do the same thing for this team that ARam’s homer off Cordero in 2007 did for that one. About the same time of year, too.

I guess the negative nabobs don’t follow baseball much. A game is never over until the 27th out.

Yep. That's why baseball is best. There is no clock.

Indeed, couldn't agree more

I noticed most of the negative nabobs — not all — have been nowhere to be found since the bottom of the eighth.

To the ones who stuck around even after that, I tip my cap. You guys are real fans.

To the ones who didn’t … well, you can figure it out. :)

so, am I a real fan? ..

just asking because it looks like you are distributing certificates of authenticity. Your stamp of approval would mean so much to everyone.

As Mel used to say on "Alice"

Stow it. Please. That’s about as nicely as I can put it.

Well, I agree that's your peak for niceties.

something’s never change and some people never grow up..phewww

Hope so...

it was nice to see all of four the “big” bats have good days offensively Hopefully it continues.

Yeah, it was

and yeah, I hope so. With Lee pitching tomorrow, it won’t be easy. We’ll see.

The A-Ram statement is very true

This game has season changing potential

Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.

A-MAZING

Incredible finish. GO CUBS!!!

Wait a minute... who am I here?

David Kaplan hates Soriano

I would say give him a break for tonight

Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.

Yeah he really

went off on him Wed. night on CTL.

We have a pattern.

June 25, 2007 – game-winning 2-run single against Colorado (looping base hit to right center)
May 28, 2008 – game-winning single against Los Angeles (looping base hit down the LF line)
May 16, 2009 – game-winning single against Houston (looping base hit to right center)
Today!

Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.

Whoo!

Happy day today :)

Great come-from-behind win — hopefully, the type that can turn the season around.

Also, I <3 D. Lee

Declining statistics aside, his leadership is invaluable.

by Fresca on Jun 18, 2009 4:46 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

He certainly has stepped it up

He seems more vocal now than he used to be. But as far as I’m concerned, he can be as silent as a Sphinx, so long as he keeps playing well.

unbelievable....

I was sitting in the office of where I work when it was 5-1 Sox thinking this one was over. How the hell did this happen?? hahahah!!!

I'm a lefty, maybe Lou should give me a shot for a position in the bullpen!!
