in the ninth.
Certainly doable against Wood. Got to be patient, he is going to have a lot of adrenaline.
Bottom line, regardless of what happens today, this is the offense I have expected to see this season. If we can continue to have good at bats from Soriano and Geo that would be a massive boost.
Very doable against an amped up Wood...
He’ll walk at least one guy. Just got to be paitent and get some pitches to hit!

based on previous history
he’ll walk a guy, hit a guy, and then who knows…
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

Hopeful
I have high hopes against Wood that we can scratch across at least one. I’m calling a Gameboard homer.
I'm calling a walk from Milton and a 2 run walkoff homer from Lee

how in thw hell does derosa have 49 rbi's
we used to complain that he wasnt a clutch hitter
by BelieveinBlue2314 on Jun 19, 2009 5:37 PM CDT reply actions
Because there's no such thing as clutch hitting
(sort of — at least there isn’t to the degree many people say there is)
I’d guess he has 49 RBI because he’s batted with lots of RISP and because he’s hitting well.
