Man I wish

there was a sucker team that needs a DH come the deadline. How can a guy be such a pansy? If that thing isn’t torn its time get his ass out there. That joke wants people to have his back? What a turd.

Its funny, you spend most of your life gripping a baseball. And in the end, its almost always the other way around.

by TCobb1911 on Jun 2, 2009 7:10 PM CDT reply actions

I don't mean

to sound like I’m over-reacting however how the hell does a professional athlete get just running so many times? He must have really had his previous managers fooled. I don’t buy for a second that guy wants to give it his all. Soriano is playing hurt. Its time to put the big boy belt on and play or get the hell out.

The biggest problem is we’re stuck with this soccer player for another year.

Its funny, you spend most of your life gripping a baseball. And in the end, its almost always the other way around.

by TCobb1911 on Jun 2, 2009 7:16 PM CDT up reply actions

I have to disagree

Someone who didn’t want to play wouldn’t take such long at-bats and dive for catches like MB does.

Of course, I’m an admitted MB apologist, so take that for what it’s worth.

by redward on Jun 2, 2009 7:19 PM CDT up reply actions

Really..

he fricking admitted that he removed himself at times when he could have played.

Call me crazy

but if you “take a dive” and act like you were hit by a pitch when you really weren’t, you should have to serve some kind of a suspension. Stop being a sissy.

by Craig in South Bend on Jun 2, 2009 7:10 PM CDT reply actions

I would say

punish the ump not the player. He is the idiot who bought his acting. It’s not like he works in a profession where he rarely hears the sound of a ball hitting a piece of wood.
