I would think they’re crazy. However that’s probably your best bet with Pujols. What a beast, I would love that man if he didn’t play for the Cards.

But you would think with the amount of advance scouting teams do someone would’ve figured him out by now. It’s not like is stuff is dominant, he’s just a smart pitcher and locates well.

This.
He’s not “Maddux II” or anything. The ceiling is probably having a slightly above-average, 10-year ML career. Any pitcher that can make the majors can have a dominant start, and can be on with his command for a couple months. Wells will have rough stretches, too, we just haven’t seen them yet.

… games against the Cubs are NOT the World Series.
Ever since 2005 games against the Cubs have lost most of their edge to me and many other Sox fans. Meanwhile, to the Cubs & Cubs fans beating the Sox IS like winning the World Series, or so they can only imagine.

A double and an ejected fan, that is.
If the one run doesn’t end up making a difference, I don’t really care. I’d rather not see anyone get ejected over it.

They'd get ejected for that? Really?

A fan in Houston was ejected earlier this year.
Remember Dome’s fan interference double? The guy who grabbed the ball was ejected from Minute Maid Park.

Interfering with a live ball is usually grounds for ejection.

Huh.
I thought the basket was big enough that you’d have to have really long arms to actually interfere with a ball that wasn’t going to be out anyway.

I can reach over it from the front row
