Normally if someone recommended that a team intentionally walk a batter with the bases loaded

I would think they’re crazy. However that’s probably your best bet with Pujols. What a beast, I would love that man if he didn’t play for the Cards.

He’s not “Maddux II” or anything. The ceiling is probably having a slightly above-average, 10-year ML career. Any pitcher that can make the majors can have a dominant start, and can be on with his command for a couple months. Wells will have rough stretches, too, we just haven’t seen them yet.

Ever since 2005 games against the Cubs have lost most of their edge to me and many other Sox fans. Meanwhile, to the Cubs & Cubs fans beating the Sox IS like winning the World Series, or so they can only imagine.
