I just sent him a new pair so I think he's ready.

So Fox in Left and Hoff in right?

Yeesh.

i’m all for keeping Fox in the line up, but I’d rather see him get consistent starts at 3B so he can get comfortable there.

yeah

but Fonty in LF would be funny to watch.

Not ha-ha funny either. :P

I don’t think this is to give Fox field time, but to rest Sori. And he sorely needs it.

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

No pun intented

on the “sorely” part, right? :P

You’re right though, fox in left is simply to get Sori a breather. I just wonder why he couldn’t rest Sori tonight (w/hoff in left) and bat bradley DH tomorrow (with Hoff in right) and keep fox at third. It would accomplish the same result without being forced to play fox and hoff in the same outfield.

don't know.

Perhaps he feels that Atlanta would small-ball Fox to death at third.

Doesnt Soriano

have great numbers in Atlanta??

haha, I just posted this

I’m so silly. Deleted.

Anyway, this should be a very entertaining game. We could be looking at a future Cubs 3 and 5 hitters for many years to come with Fox and Hoff in there. I’m anxious to see how they perform… weather permitting, of course… 20% chance of rain the rest of night, however wunderground storm tracks indicate there is at least one more major storm that will roll through in about an hour and a half… so we shall see.

Years to come?

Where do you see them playing? Between DLee, Aramis, Soriano, etc . . . I don’t see either of them sticking in the lineup with any consistency.

What a joke..

Milton Bradley looks to finally be getting in a groove with a 10 game hitting streak and Lou decides to rest him? He’s had enough god damn rest with all the games he’s missed due to injuries.

We’ve got a 4 game winning streak too…

That person would be wrong

Bradley should have played last night.

Actually...

… the defense last night was just fine. It was the offense that needed help.
