Jake Fox, Open and Insightful on the Team and his fielding from his first arrival to now. 6/23/09 670am
Fox discusses:
The pressure he felt from the fans and press upon his call up.
How tight and unhappy the locker room was on arrival.
How much happier and looser the team is now.
His improved fielding and linking the improvement to mental segregation of hitting and fielding and not letting one carry over to the other.
Trial by fire in conversion from full time catcher to part time LF and begging a glove off Cliff Floyd.
My $.02 is this guy has big personality and hope his take on fielding is accurate. Apologies for the Score link, but I heard it on the way in to the office.

wow
Great interview, Fox sure sounds like a great guy. I really enjoyed that.
Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.

This kid is the bee's knees
I am his fan, but mostly because of his great attitude, hard work and easy smile.
One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

Where did Sarah Spain go? I haven’t seen the regular video interviews for awhile.

Sarah has been out of town at a convention.
She told me she’ll post more videos in the next homestand.

Wow, that interview just blew me away.
What a head on that guy. Sounds like a friggin’ genius out there. Let’s keep him on our team.
I shook his hand in spring training in 2007…HUGE forearms.

in before
BLou accuses him of illicit hoe-ing.
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

i loved this
it’s great hearing an honest opinion from a player who hasn’t learned the standard answers we always hear from players.
