As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

Here's what I don't get

A guy like Jim Edmonds and Reed Johnson gets DFA’d from their team. Yet Aaron Miles is still here? That being said, he did help us get a walkoff….but that’s all he’s pretty much done for us all year!

Edmonds and Johnson were unconditionally released, not DFA'd.

The result in Edmonds’ case was that the Padres were on the hook for his contract. The Cubs paid all of Johnson’s deal for 2008.

Miles would be owed about $3.7 million — the remains of his deal for this year and all of next year. I’d still do it.

The problem is the Cubs don't have anyone to authorize

eating any money for 2010.

The rate things are going, the Cubs may never have a new owner.

Hey, it's a new century!

You know who has a 92.9 % positive rating?

Mark DeRosa.

I found that hard to believe.

Not really sure how the site works.
