This is impressively fast...
Looks like we have a guy who just wants to play. Very refreshing.
Proud recipient of a hot dog shot from the Iowa Cubs hot dog gun.
agreed
sadly we’re rather sparse in quality outfielders. with a guy in boise arguably our second (or maybe first) most impressive outfield prospect (colvin is among our top two???? still?) , jackson could move up quickly if he’s any good.
the middle infield appears to be better
I cant wait to see this Lee kid
Okay, just so I understand it... in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.
Just make sure we trade him when his value his highest
and he is sitting in AA/AAA. That way we don’t become victims to yet another centerfield flameout.
Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.
maybe, just maybe
he will be ‘the one’ that can hit for .280, have moderate power, steal effectively, throw to the correct base. at least he’s not a 5 tool guy (no power yet).
it would be ironic that the "least talented" guy is the one the works out
except that I will never believe in a Cubs OF prospect until I see one work out.
Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.
this is why
we can’t have nice things, you know.
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

It's a good sign
Always good to get the top pick lined up early. He needs to get indoctrinated to pro life right away. A short season in the minors will hopefully get him on the right track. As to what he may become, who knows. We all know that the history of MLB is littered with the careers of guys who never should have made it, and sure things that never panned out.
