I dont think thats negative

you cant win many games when your offense is inept with guys on. Sometime that is going to have to change.

I thought maybe some success over the weekend would loosen everyone up but we just cant get the job done. Lets hope that changes right here.

Soriano

took a good, long look at the first pitch he saw and decided that since it was way down on top of the plate he would just golf hack it up in the air to center field. Soriano should be under strict orders: watch the first two pitches. He can’t do any worse with that strategy.

Don’t mean to pile on the man, but honestly, that was a very unfocused moment for him at the plate. Bad.

5-0 mets. Wright singles, to second on DP ball, steals third

Then singled in an RISP situation… I guess that’s how you score runs, huh?

by DisCUBbobulated on Jun 24, 2009 8:02 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

what is this

single you speak of. I don’t think I know what that is.

by hmlee on Jun 24, 2009 8:03 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I know what a single is

but putting it with RISP….that’s a foreign concept.

i know some people are going to disagree with me

or how about

fire him based on his culpability for putting this team together? This is by all accounts “his team” the team he wanted – and he doesn’t seem to give a shit that it is underperforming.
