i don't agree with the poster that this team is a disaster in every phase of the game

but I can’t help thinking of the scene from “The Natural” where they bring in the kook psychiatrist who leads sessions with the players on how “losing is a disease…” I really feel like the offensive ineptitude in key situations has become a disease with this club that defies talent and belief

I have been watching the scoreboards as much as anyone

but in reality, this cubs team is just not good.

They squeked out some victories against a horrifying Cleveland team but it is back to reality now.

Bob Brenly needs to take over next season and clean house. Problem is the contracts that he would be saddled with, he might not want the job.
