I beg to differ

The players are divas and think they’re too good to play out a game because they may get injured and not get paid at their clubs. The last few coaches can’t be faulted, really.

Bora is the bee’s knees. God bless that man. Met him a few times too. When he’s home in Mexico, he goes to see the games at the university I work for.

For any complaining Cub fan. Fernando Tatis just hit into a DP with runners on first and third and one out. According to Mets broadcaster this would be the 9th time in 11 “chances” . He has hit a DP. That is pretty amazing.

WTF

Why do the Cubs middle infielders insist on catching the ball so far in front of the bag on a SB attempt? Let it come to you!

by kanderber on Jun 24, 2009 6:55 PM CDT reply actions

I've seen alot of fielders do that around the league too.

Yeah, it’s kind of a no brainer, the swipe won’t beat the ball.

Exactly.

Bob pointed it out about Theriot the other day, and the Tigers announcer just pointed it out about Fontenot. It’s like sliding into first base… it’s counterproductive!

your absolutely right.

but human instinct is to reach for the ball
