can’t remember the last time Fontenot even hit a ball hard. Lots of popups and soft choppers. What in the heck happened to him

He was forced to play 3B
and had to focus on his fielding rather than his hitting.
Either that, or last year was a fluke, but let’s not say that just yet.

Good afternoon, Cubs Fans!
I hear we found a stache of previously undiscovered bats today.
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

I hvae a problem...
with today’s lineup. Soto has a real nice game yesterday and today we get Hill. Bradley isn’t going to get any better sitting this one out. He atleast works a damn count and will draw a walk.
Its sad but true, Aramis coming back really isn’t goin to make that big of a difference. Surely, it will help some, and he’s a welcome addition, however inserting him in the lineup isn’t going to force guys like Fontenot and Miles to hit. Even if he comes back to a somewhat normal version of Aramis, he’ll never get pitched to.
Guys are just wasting at bats. I’ve been watching on gamecast here at work, and it its anywhere close to accurate, they’re throwing away 2-0 counts like Cedeno Cubs jerseys. They’re getting up 2-0, and swining at the next pitch even if its a nice 2-0 pitcher’s spot on a corner, down.
This may draw some poor responses but if I were Lou, I would order everyone not named Fox or Lee to take until they get a strike. They drew one God damn walk off that thing on the mound from Detroit. I’m serious. I really would. The bottom line here is something needs to change. Something needs to happen. Lou can’t sit there tuggin’ his jock anymore just hoping they’ll snap out of it (oh, and taking guys out of the lineup after they have a real nice day at the plate. Atleast DH Soto).
Its funny, you spend most of your life gripping a baseball. And in the end, its almost always the other way around.
