Cubs hit ball long way, Marmol

Cubs hit two bombs.
Milton had a fit, went all “Michael Jackson” on the gatorade cooler, was sent home by Uncle Lou.
Soriano’s outstanding defense costs the Cubs at least one and maybe two runs but is still the best LF in the NL
Marmol imploded again.
And you are up to date.

by heine41 on Jun 26, 2009 5:27 PM CDT up reply actions

Untrue.

Bradley’s downside was well-known,
it was another Hendry blue-light special.

Ibanez could hit .400 the next three years – Hendry will still feel he was too old to sign.
Dunn will still be seen as too expensive.

Hendry fell for the usual "lightning in a bottle " con with Milton – he’s younger, and the Cubs can fix what’s wrong. With a good environment and the respect of a big paycheck, he’ll be the steal of the offseason!

We seriously need to avoid any more “Hendry guy” acquisition via Free Agency.
