Bradley something more under the surface
Having been around a couple of a serious mental or emotional disorders in my life I think Bradley is showing signs of mild Bi-Polar Disorder. Impossible to diagnose from this distance of course, but the signs are all there from impulsiveness and irritability, impaired judgment, recklessness W/O thinking of the consequences, even forms of social helplessness and rejection, paranoia et cetera. Being on a team in close company one cannot hide things, in fact it is like a family or college frat/dorm. Couple this with the pressure to succeed and things are often exaggerated. My overall thinking is that the Cubs need a huge addition by subtraction no different than what happened with Hundley. Dump and the idea of Winn for Bradley with a possible sweetener is a good one.

you have absolutely NO way of coming to this conclusion.
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

Never mind the first 30 years of his life. He was just never diagnosed. It just took a Cubs blogger with no medical experience or schooling to find it. Brilliant.

Great. Now we have aspiring psychologists making a diagnosis...
…based on things they’ve read about a guy.
Just when I think I’ve heard and seen it all about the cluelessness and arrogance (a potent combination) of some people, Ivy manages to surprise me.

Wow. Pretty harsh on Ivy, guys
I’ve been critical of some of his comments, too. but he started out by acknowledging that it’s impossible to diagnose from a distance. He said it was speculation.
I’ve had very good conversations with everyone that’s posted prior to this comment, and I’m sure I will in the future. I’m a bit surprised that everyone jumped on him without recognizing that it was speculation on his part – and that his own experience could possibly add merit.

but what good can come of it?
Even with the “speculation” disclaimer, what good can come of throwing something like this out there? Seriously, why put this out there?
