ESPN Stories on Cubs travails
First one is on Lous mixed messages and its affects on the team
Then this one is about the "Cubs Experience" and the toll it takes on players, Bradley in particular, and Lou compared to their other big city experiences.

Here's the big question: Why was Lou's outburst leaked?
Because Lou is right – usually this stuff stays in the clubhouse. So, why did someone besides MB leak this story?
The answer that comes to my mind is that someone was displeased with Lou and wanted the story out there. There’s definitely a story here about MB’s problems, but this is a smokescreen right now covering what is probably a more important problem: Lou’s issues with the team and Lou’s disconnect from his players. We know this was a problem in year one. It looks to be a problem now in year three. It seems very possible that the winning last year covered what has been an ongoing problem.

I suspect youre right
That all seems like a recipe for disaster to me, and unless they get rolling and the good feelings start sprouting again, someone else is going to lose their job.

Didn't Z follow them both into the clubhouse?
Who else from the team would be down there?

Right
And Z probably told other teammates what was said. We won’t be able to guess who the leaker is, I don’t think.

I read in the Trib.
today that Cubs folks think it was a Sox employee working down there who leaked it. The Sox say “no” though…

Oneof the Sox Announcers said...
during the 8th inning I think it was if you missed it Bradley left in the 6th inning. Not sure if it was an injury but I heard a story. (something like that) He never did go into any detail on the story during the game.

Cowherd on ESPN Radio this morning
ripped into Zambrano, Bradley & Hendry. Big believer in clubhouse chemistry – one rotten apple spoils the barrel theory apparently, and he thinks the Cubs have two.
