To Be Young At Heart
I know this past few days has been very hard on Cubs fan...BUT let me tell you. My little great nephew is going to be the Walgreens Celebrity Batkid this Thursday when they play Milwaukee...he is SO EXCITED and so is our entire family. My niece his mother named their dog Lou after Lou P. My two girls have both won the celebrity batkid and were able to meet Mark Grace, Ron Santo, Lou, Girardi, Kerry Wood how much better can it be for a Cubs fan??...I try to still as an adult look through the eyes of a child when I watch the Cubs. Yes the Cubs lost the last two to White Sox, but they won 1 and my daughter who is 12 was screaming in the house and we proudly wore all of our Cubs stuff the next day!! My youngest daughter loves Big Z...and if anyone says anything bad about him she doesn' t like it. Hang in there Cubs fans...don't leave them...they will come back!! REMEMBER talk to a kid at the game or talk to a kid in your neighborhood that lovest the Cubs...they still have the "FAITH" and they still love the Cubs!!!

how
did you rig the bat-kid thing so that three kids you know got to do it? :D
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

No Rigging!!
ACTUALLY, I HAVE TWO DAUGHTERS. THEY WON BECAUSE I DON’T THINK AS MANY GIRLS ENTER AS BOYS…ALSO THEY PROBABLY SENT 20 ENTREES A WEEK TIL THEY WON. MY GREAT NEPHEW WROTE OUT 10 EACH SATURDAY UNTIL HE WON…SO IT IS NOT “RIGGED” IT IS DETERMINATION AND PERSISTENT TO WIN…YOU HAVE TO BE DEVOTED TO THE CUBS AND KEEP SENDING THEM IN!!!! IT IS TRULY AMAZING THAT 3 IN ONE EXTENDED FAMILY WON…HOW PROUD MY FATHER WHO WAS A GREAT CUB FAN IS THAT TWO OF HIS GRANDAUGHTERS, AND ONE GREAT GRANDSON COULD WIN THIS!!!

Ask him if he could eavesdrop on any Lou/Milton conversations...
…and steer clear of the Gatorade cooler.
