Bad enough

It’s bad enough that this offense is awful, but let’s face it, this club is getting zero breaks over the past several weeks. Don’t give me any of the “you make your own breaks” garbage. Luck is luck and this team does not have it.

Who needs a stinkin' tag line? What are they for anyway?

Now that I can agree with

Very few breaks, and almost every mistake comes back to bite.

Big-time confidence booster for Gregg

Especially after last night.

Cubs record since April 2004: 4-0

You might be right

Gregg looked untouchable. Hard to believe after yesterday.

But that’s why baseball is so great. You don’t have to sulk for a week after you lose.

Marmol too.

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

Great time.

Sat next to a UGA grad who went there in the early ’90s. Remembered Worst to First, remembered when Sid Slid. And he brought his Cub fan neighbors to a fantastic win, too. True gentleman, he shook my hand after the game and said, “Nice job.”
