Smokies
I’ll see them some time Labor Day weekend at Pringles Park. I still haven’t ever made all the way over to Smokies Park. I’ve got to do that in 2010.

Now that's what I call getting fired up.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

It was crazy.
The outburst lasted about 5 minutes and the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

Every time Sandburg gets ejected..
I look more forward to the future match up between him and Ozzie – or even him in the Cubs dugout as Asst manager to Lou.

One of these days
someone has to post some video from one of these ejections. I can’t for the life of me picture Ryno out there all fired up and in an umpire’s face, and especially burying the plate in dirt. I can’t wait, CAN’T WAIT, for Ryno to manage the Cubs.

I would have had it.
But I turned my phone off to save power for the end of the Cubs game.

How is it...
that Sandberg gets ejected five times in 70 games, Zambrano gets ejected once and it’s Zambrano’s temperment that’s an issue? Where’s the Phil Rogers column on whether Sandberg has the temperment and maturity to be a manager? Where’s the media drumbeat to have him fired?
What makes the two different cases?
