I actually hope we're so far ahead in our division that this game won't matter,

but I get what you’re saying, and it’s probably more realistic at this point.

WGN AND WCIU?

Why on both?

I know this isn't the designated spot for this...

…but (because there are some time constraints on refunding your tickets), if anyone is looking to get rid of their tickets because of a future conflict, please let me know. I’d love to get to this game.

Sometimes the site burps.

Please repost your ticket request in the general ticket exchange post, too.

I know and I have always done that.

I figured this might be a exception. I believe you can only refund your tickets for a postponed game for a certain amount of time. I was trying to pick up someone’s tickets if they knew that they weren’t going to be able to attend the make up game (now that it’s official) and planned on getting a refund.

More information from the press release
Fans unable to attend the September 3 make-up game may request a refund by sending their tickets to the Wrigley Field Ticket Office at 1060 W. Addison St., Chicago, IL 60613 or by visiting the Wrigley Field ticket windows during business hours. All refunds must be requested before July 31.

Well..thats a bitch...

since the original game was a night game and in the partial season ticket plan for nights and weekends, this makes it a no-go for several people who I know who had tickets for this game originally since they are Working Cub Fans who work a normal work day. And this was the only Cubs/Sox game in our package. Not happy about this.

they wanted to see the game...

not give their tickets away. I already donated my tickets to a church auction, so I wasn’t going but my best friend…who has a seat right next to me is VERY PISSED at this as he has to work. Also knowing him…he would rather eat the tickets if the person is not a friend of his (he does not believe in reselling his tickets to people he does not know personally and will not in any case sell his for over face value)…so ultimately, his ticket will probably be unused. He really wanted to see a Cubs/Sox game this year and now will probably miss out unless some miracle happens (his words) and he gets to take day off.

That's a little weird, but whatever floats your boat.

I guess if money isn’t a concern, then I get it.

Either way that sucks you can’t go. I suspect there will be A LOT of people not able to go.

So does this mean the Cubs have another night game date to play with?

Not sure where we are with our ESPN Sunday night commitments, but none of our remaining Sunday games look all that exciting, except possibly the Mets on Aug 30 if both teams are still in it.

With the May 15 Houston rainout rescheduled for Thursday, July 30, maybe they’ll make Wed July 29 a night game, seeing as how Thursday is now the getaway day.

I was thinkint about that, too.

They could do that, as they now have TWO night game rainouts (4/19 was the other) rescheduled as day games.

They’d have to give a couple weeks notice, at least, if they want to do this.

Anyone know who'd be on which channel?

I’ll be in Nebraska (hopefully with WGN) I’d rather not be force-fed Hawk…

I will repost this in the ticket exchange also...

… but I have one available bleacher ticket for the makeup game. Since it was a $60 game, I paid $60 for it, so that’s what I’m asking. Contact via the email address on the left sidebar if interested.
