Around SBN: The Animated GIFs Of January

A fifth annual screening of rare footage from the Baseball Hall of Fame Archive will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 11, in the James B. Pick and Rosalyn M. Laudati Auditorium of the Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art, 40 Arts Circle Drive, on Northwestern’s Evanston campus. It is free and open to the public.

The preview which can be viewed at the link above doesn't show any Cubs footage (there are scenes at old Comiskey Park).

This screening was scheduled

to coincide with the Cubs/Twins series so presenter Dave Filipi ( a nice person and DIE HARD Twins fan) could
take in the Friday game the next day ( along with Will the programmer of Block Cinema). Being soft hearted I let him buy two of my bleacher tickets for the game.
It is always a fun program but never realized it was free.

"I daydream just like everybody else, I just do it with my body facing the field, so everybody thinks I'm paying attention."- Greg Maddux
