I didn't preview before posting..
For an anxious second, I was worried I’d fumbled the snap there.

So I feel like a freshman...
who doesn’t know which party to go to…Are people in this thread now? :)
That is always the dilemma...
isn’t it? Maybe if I just act like I’m supposed to be here, no one will notice.

yeah....
let me know how that works out for you. You could always go over to the Brewers game thread. They are a bunch of pansies over there
Yeah, but if I did that...
I’d have to punch myself in the face for choosing to listen to people talk about how great Ryan Braun is…

In that case, I think the most people will be...

I had 5 of them one night about a couple years ago
I got SO SICK I still can’t eat apples

That is one the worst things about being on the East Coast.
The timing for sports sucks. I hate going to bed before I know the final scores of west coast games. Not to mention in football season, on the west coast games are starting right when you wake up in the morning…

Fortunately..
I can usually set my own schedule… and waste too much of my time in these game threads in the morning… but I don’t start getting up at 3am for games until it’s the playoffs or very close to them..

Don't blame you

I usually try
.. to stumble out of bed and to the computer at 6 or 6:30am to catch the end of day games, but it’s winter here and bed is so cozy sometimes.. lol

I could see that being rough.
When I was in the Middle East last year, I was watching the Cubs on ESPN at bizarre hours like that too. It’s something you never really get used to…
by CubsWin!Oregon on Jun 4, 2009 7:19 PM CDT up reply actions
TV coverage of the Cubs
.. has been terrible this year here. Only been like 3 Cubs games on the version of ESPN that we get here in Australia and none at all on FoxSports… :(

You're not eligible...
for online tv either, huh? ’Cause of the weird blackout rules…

I'm not actually sure about that..
I just always worried my internet connection wouldn’t be good enough to make it worthwhile…

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out
Pretty nice
Marlins lead, 4-1. I guess we can still scoreboard watch.

I love my friends
For those of you who watch what you eat , here’s the final word on nutrition and health. It’s a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Cubs Fan .
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Cubs Fan .
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Cubs Fan .
4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Cubs Fan .
5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Cubs Fan .
CONCLUSION
Eat and drink what you like. Being a Cubs Fan is apparently what kills you

just said that they’ve heard zero news from either ballclub’s media relations people about when or if the game is gonna go….
I wonder if the MLBtv thing was just pure speculation based on the weather radar? Seems weird that WGN wouldn’t know anything…
well...
I wasn’t really going that route. But I guess if it floats your boat. :)

Has anyone else...
been having script errors in their browser on this website?
It’s driving me crazy. It keeps cutting off the end of my posts. And often times not letting me post at all (I click “reply” and it just jumps to the top of the page…)
It started happening yesterday, and I can’t figure out why….
what browser are you using?
opera?
firefox?
ie
& of course… what version also
It's iE 8...
It’s been working for months though, and I haven’t been making any modifications to the configuration, installing new add-on’s etc…
Once I log out of SBN and then log back in, it works again. Just very annoying.
by CubsWin!Oregon on Jun 4, 2009 7:45 PM CDT up reply actions
hmmmm
wonder if they’re having sql db problems again…
Those issues have come up before?
I guess I’ll just have to see if it continues….Then maybe ask the SBN guys.

last fall late september and early october
posts would disappear, random jumping around threads… and no I’m not talking about Al deleting offensive stuff, just random stuff happening.
last fall,
didn’t matter which browser was used… it was database corruption.
I use FF @ work, and enjoy the use of adblock plus to avoid evil SWL picture posts.
