I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

it's an empty game thread
full of possibility, aching with emptiness. It’s a toy to play with!

Okay, here's the real question:
why did she finally go to a doctor about that thing after 20 years?
Only after it got so heavy that she couldn’t hold her head up comfortably?
Seems like a normal person would go to the doctor after 1 day of a horn growing out of their freaking forehead!

She kept that thing on for 20 years?
That’s more disturbing than the picture!

Got back from Turner a couple hours ago.
Drank with friends in the car watching the rain from the parking lot (its not a DUI if the key isn’t in the ignition) and ate peanuts. We did the math on how much beer we bought in ounces, and we spent $17 on it all. Had we bought the same amount of beer inside, it would have been $91. One of the best baseball games I ever did. Even though I never went inside the stadium.
That being said… for those of you who don’t live in Chicago and only get to see the Cubs a few times a year, may a rainout never happen to you. Good night.
Make it happen baby: Cubs, Jaguars, FSU, Jazz, Thrashers.
