Micah has had some good catches recently
sure, he makes them look harder than they should be, but he’s putting forth the effort, which we’re not seeing with Sori right now. Even if it wakes him up a bit, it’ll be worth it

He seems to swing very early in the count almost on an at bat by at bat basis.

He hits a lot of first pitches for homeruns, and the nobody complains.
I’ve gotten used to Sori alternating between hot and cold streaks, but this is getting to be a long longggg cold streak…

I think MLB teams
look at their schedules and decide to bring up a new pitcher and give him his first start when they face the Cubs.
I realize Volquez went on the DL but I still think the Reds planned to give Maloney a start against the Cubs regardless.

with this offense
we are going to end up with 5 starting pitchers with sub 3.50 ERAs and .500 records. I mean even the worst offenses accidentally score a run here and there. I believe the drought of how many games we have gone without hitting a HR with a man on base is at 20. I have to guess we are approaching some sort of ML record
