I was waiting a minute or two for someone to post.
the Cubs always lose if I am first. So I wait for someone else to show up. Thanks!

Well, it was weird.
I could swear that I clicked on the 1st overflow thread because of how many posts were in it, then when this page loaded, there was nothing, and so I was left being kinda confused for a moment.

better off having Dempster bat than Bradley at this point
3 terrible at bats after the HR. it is apparently ever batter for himself with this anemic offense
Agreed
Only 84 pitches, and there were already 2 outs in the inning. Not much could’ve happened.

I went to a game in Milwaukee in 2007,
And it sounded like “Root, root root for the CUBBIES!” instead of “home team.”

With any execution
the cubs are winning or at worst tied. Only because they have managed to strand 3 lead off doubles and a leadoff single are they down.
hard to blame pinella
when you aren’t winning games and every game is 1-2 runs the prospect of putting in the bottom rung of the bullpen would not be well received
So pitching isn't our problem
It’s the Cubs offense that has been offensive.

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.
Let's score some Cubs runs
So we can break this tie and complete this comeback!
