baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out
Since people were asking
Some of the pictures I took at Turner Field Wednesday and Thursday.

Hi Sue!
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

Our pitching, particularly starting, has been outstanding. If our hitting was even as close to being as good, we’d be 10 games in front.

This is INSANE
Marmol’s arm really WILL fall off at least in the sense it will be useless, So it was OK for him to throw 20 plus pitches in the game last Sunday.. NO ONE NOT NAMED MARMOL can pitch the 8th ? You guess want to know why I think
Lou is a BAD manager well you are watching it.

another ND in the offing for Wells. I see what you are saying Doggie Stalker and at this point, yeah, Lou is going to start having to rely on ascanio and waddell if this team has any chance of making it through the year. It is one thing to use marmol and gregg every game, another situation to use marmol every game when he can’t get anyone out.
And krummy12 brings up the more relevant point, if the offense could score more than 3 runs a game this wouldn’t be a F-ing issue.

Lou via Marmol only screwed up in the 8th inning
who made all the mistakes earlier in the game?

Why not Guzman?
Heilman sucks!

Just got here
I was hoping Lou was going to go and scream at Heilman, you should never be making that throw unless it is a certainty. And Marmol needs to get his head out of his rear end.

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

you can look at the time-stamps of the posts. And this thread was pretty quiet till Marmol walked two, and then all of a sudden all sorts of Krummy types come out of the walls to bitch and moan. Where were they when we were up by two?
Why can’t they be around to celebrate?

when they start screwing up, people go looking for a place to lament.

Gotta disagree with that

Bad Decision on the bunt,
but great pitching by Heilmen to get out of that inning with only one run scoring.

But you have to get an out.
If it’s close then get the runner at first. That is just smart baseball.
