Thanks for the tip, lets leave the controvercy in the last thread. :)

If I could do it again, I would not have posted the jump and, therefore, left all the ledge jumpers in the other thread.

it’s vital the jump gets posted. Remember the game where the ledge jumpers never figured out the jump? It’s important to see if they can read :-)

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. I think

if Fukudome had been running on contact as well. It might have put more pressure on the third baseman to make a play. He might have hesitated on going to third, home, or first.

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

I can almost feel the hate for this

but excuse my ignorance…Does Rami have a NTC? I honestly don’t know if it’s been discussed (I can imagine it has), but why not go younger and healthier? Fox looks like he’s going to be a helluva player, so why not hold on to him and try to deal Rami? That would probably screw up the Rami to Vitters transition though, wouldn’t it?

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. Question:

If it turns out the call (Wells being out) is bad after being reviewed by baseball, does Lou get suspended and/or fined for his outburst?

by Vermont Cubs Fan on Jul 1, 2009 7:43 PM CDT reply actions

I remember that.

I also seem to remember a time in a Steelers-Colts playoff game when the officials made a call that favored Indianapolis, and a Steelers player made some remarks about the officials. Later, he was not fined because it turns out the call (overturned interception after review) should have been ruled as an interception.

Blooper into center

Dome DIVES to make the catch! DDR/VOM=?

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

I know it was a diving catch.

Don’t get MLB.TV, though, so I don’t know anything else.

MLB.TV is blackout for Japan

Using foreign proxy might be solving this, but I don’t know it’s worth for doing that risk…

by dragonsfanatic on Jul 1, 2009 8:01 PM CDT up reply actions

Is that illegal in Japan?

It was very good but

not spectacular. He dove and caught the ball, but he wasn’t fully extended.

I'd love

to see Fuld string together a few nice games while Sori sits—maybe a little competition and getting shown up by a guy making 300k will light a competitive fire in Soriano.

the only guy sweating more than Soriano, if that happens

will be Jim Hendry (good!)

sigh. Soriano is competitive. Unless Fuld knows how to fix his swing, Sam starting there won't have any affect

now, sitting for a few days might give Soriano the breather he’s obviously needed for a while, and allow him to just relax and watch

how many games will it take for Soriano to go Tanya Harding on Fuld's knee?

At this point...

I’m rooting for Bradley to just walk every time he comes to bat.
