Sorry.
If I could do it again, I would not have posted the jump and, therefore, left all the ledge jumpers in the other thread.

it’s vital the jump gets posted. Remember the game where the ledge jumpers never figured out the jump? It’s important to see if they can read :-)

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

I think
if Fukudome had been running on contact as well. It might have put more pressure on the third baseman to make a play. He might have hesitated on going to third, home, or first.

on my iPhone he is really close to being safe. The throw was high he almost beat it. He def. was running on contact because he never hesitated.

He sounded great
on Waddle and Silvy yesterday. He not only sounded enthusiastic and intelligent, but was an interesting interview. He’s the bizarro-Cotts when it comes to interviews.
If he keeps playing well there,
It could set up a platoon at middle infield. Then again, I don’t think he’s an everyday player yet.

where in
the middle infield could he play? Because, while he can give Ramirez a breather when he gets back, Aramis won’t need a platoon.

I can almost feel the hate for this
but excuse my ignorance…Does Rami have a NTC? I honestly don’t know if it’s been discussed (I can imagine it has), but why not go younger and healthier? Fox looks like he’s going to be a helluva player, so why not hold on to him and try to deal Rami? That would probably screw up the Rami to Vitters transition though, wouldn’t it?

I was just thinking that I really need to look up his defensive skills based on modern metrics He probably has some sick stats.

The modern metrics rely on batted-ball stats that weren't kept in Clemente's day.

Question:
If it turns out the call (Wells being out) is bad after being reviewed by baseball, does Lou get suspended and/or fined for his outburst?
Cubs record since April 2004: 4-0
by Vermont Cubs Fan on Jul 1, 2009 7:43 PM CDT reply actions
I remember that.
I also seem to remember a time in a Steelers-Colts playoff game when the officials made a call that favored Indianapolis, and a Steelers player made some remarks about the officials. Later, he was not fined because it turns out the call (overturned interception after review) should have been ruled as an interception.

It was the game a few years ago,
When the Steelers apparently intercepted a ball, and after rolling on the turf, the player got up, and then dropped the ball, before recovering it.
Somehow, the play was overturned.

It's not about how bad the call is

IIRC
Kobe didn’t want to come if we did trade Deng in his deal. He wanted to win a championship, which he has certainly done now.

Not many guys can come in off the bench...
And drop 30, but that’s too much money for a 6th man.
Someday we'll go all the way...

If he goes one more,
That would take a lot of stress off the bullpen.

Hey dragonsfanatic,
Dome just made a nice diving catch!

I know it was a diving catch.
Don’t get MLB.TV, though, so I don’t know anything else.

MLB.TV is blackout for Japan
Using foreign proxy might be solving this, but I don’t know it’s worth for doing that risk…

Is that illegal in Japan?

Well I I'll watch MLB highlight on NHK tonight
and that contract of NHK should be the reason for blackout.

It was very good but
not spectacular. He dove and caught the ball, but he wasn’t fully extended.
DEJESUS!!!
It was
good enough that it will make the highlights,
DEJESUS!!!
It's good anyway
if Cubs can collect one out

I'd love
to see Fuld string together a few nice games while Sori sits—maybe a little competition and getting shown up by a guy making 300k will light a competitive fire in Soriano.
DEJESUS!!!
the only guy sweating more than Soriano, if that happens
will be Jim Hendry (good!)

sigh. Soriano is competitive. Unless Fuld knows how to fix his swing, Sam starting there won't have any affect
now, sitting for a few days might give Soriano the breather he’s obviously needed for a while, and allow him to just relax and watch

how many games will it take for Soriano to go Tanya Harding on Fuld's knee?

I’m rooting for Bradley to just walk every time he comes to bat.
