Hi Em.

It’s already ugly in the first thread. I didn’t post a jump because of it.

3 runs in as many innings.

Pretty hit-or-miss today. He’s got a few K’s but also a few walks as well.

What has Harden's heater...

…registered on the gun?

I am usually not a big believer in over analyzing the radar gun, but Harden is one guy that seems to struggle when he doesn’t have that late zip on his fastball.

He's been a good pitcher for years

Kinda seems umlikely that batters figured him out all of a sudden. But who knows, baseball is a very fickle sport, a player can be great for two years and then off for a year or two and then back on top after that so who knows.

Seems like many of our pitchers are deathly afraid of doing that, judging by our BB’s

Let the new owner drop the axe on Hendry and then tell the new guy “look, you have money to spend, but let’s not just throw it at guys who are not a good fit for the team.” I am looking at Sori, Bradley, Dome, Harden (trade…I know), etc…

Maybe that lead off walk will help us out.

with a full count and two outs carpenter was running on every pitch. well rasmus fouled off three pitches in a row. and than struck out on the 4th 3-2 pitch. so that means carpenter had no rest and ran 4 straight times as the inning ending. also pujols leads off inning

I think he looks pretty awkward at the plate...

That little compact swing of his won’t get him too far as an everyday position player. Ankiel was able to make the switch because he could hit with some pretty decent power.
