However,
It’s hard to be cheery with this level of play…
One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.
I get sick of
Omplete utter overreaction
I.e. OMFG he HAS to make that DP, this whole team blows…
Makes you just want to say STFU!!!!!! lol

Let's go Cubbies!
First step to overtaking the division lead :)

How's Harden looking so far?
I at work so I can’t watch the game again :(

3 runs in as many innings.
Pretty hit-or-miss today. He’s got a few K’s but also a few walks as well.
I miss Soto

What has Harden's heater...
…registered on the gun?
I am usually not a big believer in over analyzing the radar gun, but Harden is one guy that seems to struggle when he doesn’t have that late zip on his fastball.

I'm liking him a little better
lower in the order. It looks like he’s not pressing as much and having some longer at-bats.

mike gets ahead 1-0. mike takes fastball right down broadway. chases a ball. fouls off a ball. and chases anothe ball to strike out.

At least he saw 5 pitches...
Maybe we can get Carpenter out of there early.

If they come in here I will have to leave. Alli left theother thread because of them. It shouldn’t have to be that way.
That's fine by me
I don’t mind. I’m here to find out what’s going on in the game since I can’t watch it, not to argue with a bunch of overreacting idiots over nothing.

Makes me think
that he’s not completely healthy. His back might still be acting up or this could point towards more shoulder problems. I sure hope not because I really like Rich.

He's been a good pitcher for years
Kinda seems umlikely that batters figured him out all of a sudden. But who knows, baseball is a very fickle sport, a player can be great for two years and then off for a year or two and then back on top after that so who knows.

If he's on the field, he's fine.
The guy is not afraid to rest if things aren’t right.
"He can't hit, he can't field, he can't run—all he can do is beat you."
could it be him not trusting the catcher?
I feel as if he’s more comfortable with Soto….but maybe that’s just me
by aznsensation on Jul 10, 2009 2:43 PM CDT up reply actions
Then he needs to get damn over it
Soto is out for at least two more Harden starts.
There is no such thing as an ugly female breast
his fastball doesn't move
it’s straight and can be hit by mlb hitters…that’s the bottom line. He’s not someone we can rely on with all his baggage
I'll be betting on the Cubs in the NLCS in Vegas in October! Believe!
Well, it's 3-0 now campers
And that means ballgame
No way the Cubs offense does anything against Carpenter.
Oh, and by the way, it would be nice to do something about Harden, but with Dempster’s little adventure, it won’t happen.
