Cubs fans are frustrated, but it could be worse.
This reminds me of the Cubs teams I grew up with. This season may be a wash, but THIS situation is worse.

I love the honesty
Stone got hung for being honest, lets see what happens to Dibble now
baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out

Well, MLB wasn't too concerned with making sure the Washington franchise was viable.
They put in an ownership that was not going to put money into the product on the field, they took money from DC taxpayers to build a nice new stadium, patted themselves on the back for bringing baseball to the Nation’s Capital, and went back to their penthouses. Thanks, Bud Selig.
Oh, and by the way, there is no pressure on Selig to change things here…or even on the Lerner family to spend money for a better product…since the billion lawyers and lobbyists here in DC need to have a place to take their clients….and a baseball stadium fills the bill, no matter how bad the team is.

Well, no. That would be incorrect, as regarding the "lobbyists"
from ESPN.com:
The Nats also have faced new lobbying laws that have murdered their luxury-seat sales. The high-price tickets at all sporting events are largely sold to those who work in the local industry, which in D.C. is politics. The Ethics Reform Act that was passed in 2007 made it virtually impossible for the people within the industry who have money (lobbyists) to take people to games. Good for the country, bad for the Nationals. Can you imagine if other critical ticket bases were targeted in such a manner? What if guys who lie to girls about being producers couldn’t go to Lakers games or people with outstanding warrants couldn’t buy Raiders tickets? Both franchises would be devastated.

For the moment Dibble's comments seem to have lit a spark under the Nationals
They went out last night and stomped on the Astros 11-2 . Johnson, Willingham and Dunn went back to back to back and Stammen (one of their rookies) pitched a complete game. They got the Astros bullpen early too. It won’t last but it is great when they pull themselves together and win.
And I agree with Mr. Jackson, Jim Bowden is the worst GM. Ever.

Let's hope that's the sum total of their hot streak.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.
