I miss Bob
But Keith is pretty darn good.
One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.
I didn't give him much of a chance, admittedly...
but I really didn’t like what I heard on Friday. I went with the Cards announcers, I thought he was so bad.
Well, please listen to him today
He knows a whole lot and will give you a good morsel or two. He talks a lot and he’s no Bob, but he was a smart choice for Bob’s replacement.
One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.
Let's Play Two!

Only if you live in Illinois do you get WGN in HD from Directv.
so if you do not live in state and have Directv you cannot get WGN HD.

My question
Off watching his kid play, maybe?

Pretty tired
Trying to knock my sleep schedule around to something normal – I’ll probably watch Game 1 and crash out for Game 2.
How/where are you these days?

Gak
So you’re back in the land of decent healthcare again, I take it?

our boy Milton Bradley got number 2 or 3(I don’t remember which) with his mental error of throwing the ball into the bleachers when there was two outs.

Movie weekend:
PUBLIC ENEMIES — Has Michael Mann written all over it. Not sure how I liked the quick changes from digital to film throughout the film (Mann has said before he likes to use digital in night scenes and dark contrasts, and film during daylight), so it made for a weird 1940s film, that some times looked digital, and some times looked like film. Bale shed his “Batman voice” for this one, finally. Depp was great, but I think the actress that played his girlfriend stole the show.
BRUNO — A copy of BORAT, but Cohen appeared to do more set-up than anything else. I felt like BORAT was a bit more natural in reactions and responses. This film felt like a lot of set-up to get its pay-off.

FWIW and i know i am late to this part of the thread
but I like Moreland, but I have also had many years to get sued to him calling Texas Longhorn football and baseball here.
It took time for Len and Bob to grow on me, and I am sure Moreland woulsd take time for many here to get used to.
I wonder if this is a “tryout” of sorts for Moreland and Bob might be considered for a MGR position by the Cubs (or another team) in the near future
