And this is why "this time it counts" is so incredibly dumb.

The hitter for the last place Orioles just drove in the go ahead run off of the pitcher from the last place Padres. Why two guys from last place teams are allowed to determine which team has HFA in the World Series is absurd.

I generally agree with that statement

When you get beyond the best teams in both leagues, the AL is stronger. HOWEVER, I do not think the All Star Game is proof of this.

Get Rid of the ASG

Give all teams a much needed week off, and move the trade deadline up so that it happens during that time. Guys get to rest and get healthy and see their families…and the players get a break, too!
