Woo hoo!

Boy that game sucked. Yet another good pitching performance wasted. Why can (most) of our pitchers find a way to step it up when needed, but not a single bat?

Boy oh boy oh boy

The season has been over for weeks

At some point St. Louis will get its mojo and run away with this division.

$136 million payroll for a .500 style ballclub. Good work Jim.

you keep saying that, yet the days keep rolling by

You have no qualms about predicting the # of Cubs victories (though the number keeps changing). Howsabout you tell us when this magical St. Louis express will kick in and toot toot all the way to the promised land?

Are you a Cubs fan or a Cardinals fan?

Sometimes, it’s hard to tell.

A nightmare of a roster that will take a few years to unwind

My major interest at this point is …

A. Seeing the Ricketts sale finally conclude
B. Seeing who Tom Ricketts hires to replace Hendry

Cubs will win 79 to 83 games. Season has been over for weeks. St. Louis will eventually run away with this division. And you can print it. BLou (7/21/09)

How about Soriano missing a Chan Ho Park pitch by two feet

Of all his wretched swings over the past 2 1/2 seasons I think tonight’s against Chan Ho Park takes the cake.

Cubs will win 79 to 83 games. Season has been over for weeks. St. Louis will eventually run away with this division. And you can print it. BLou (7/21/09)

It's called playing out the string...

All I can do at this point is to wait for Tom Ricketts to take ownership control and purge the Cub management hierarchy. Gone will be Kenney, Hendry, Flieta, Wilken and Piniella I hope. In there place will be a rock solid General Manager who understands how to build a baseball organization from the ground up and is granted ownership patience to get this thing fixed for the long haul. My dream scenario would also include that piss of shit Alfonso Soriano quitting baseball and allowing the Cubs to get out of the worst contract situation in baseball.

Offseason? Put Ramirez, Lee, Zambrano and any other tradeable commodity on the open market and begin a full-scale EXTREME REBUILDING job.

Cubs will win 79 to 83 games. Season has been over for weeks. St. Louis will eventually run away with this division. And you can print it. BLou (7/21/09)

We'll let you do it

Go ahead, you seemed to know everything, go down to addison and see if they’ll take your ideas and see if your attitude gets you into that door your always talking about.

The men seperated themselves from the boys.....

outfielder for Phillies under the radar….Werth….21 HR…61 RBI’s…

Sorryanus and Gameboard……COMBINED….(16-38 and 6-21=22/59)…..AND they (Phillies) have the fat old LEFT HANDED BAT HENDRY (who again….sshows actual signs of life at the plate) didn’t sign………..

C’mon LOU…throw Hendry under the bus and start platooning Bradley and Soriano TOMORROW….OH WAIT…….Bradley can’t hit LEFTHANDED…….

The best defense is a good offense.....Lou Pinella...still hasn't managed the Cubs to a post season win. D. Lee still doesn't have a post seasson RBI for Cubs...ditto for Soriano
