Well, that contest was for the entire season.
Then again, has he been DL’d or something? His gamelogs show Felix hasn’t appeared in a game since July 12. (I know the O’s have been trying to deal him.) Anyway, here was my guess:
BA: .255
HR: 8
OBP: .330
RBI: 25
SB: 20
I think he surprises a few people with his ability to get on base, but otherwise has a fairly low-key season offensively. If he can stick as a starter, however, he may feel emboldened in ’10 and start making some noise.
Well, he hasn’t “stuck as a starter” so something tells me he’s not going to feel too, uh, “emboldened” next season. #daverfail
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out

Wow, sad.
Felix has been shut down.

what is sad
is how bad many projected him to be, and how those numbers would be improvements for him

the Orioles have 4 good OF's
they need to find playing time for:
Adam Jones, NIck Markakis, and Luke Scott were pretty much locks given their production. Then it came down to Reimold vs. Pie, and Pie lost that battle when Reimold got hot upon call-up

McPhail took a minimal risk flyer on Felix Pie and it didn't work out
Simple as that. Pie will now go on to have an Alex Escobar like nomadic experience. Pie is lifetime Triple A material that organizations will continue to have mild interest in for the next two or three years on the off-chance that he is a late bloomer.
$136 million payroll for a .500 style ballclub. Good work Jim.

Hardly shocking
It was evident the last two seasons that he was a longshot to ever hit major league pitching. And that has held true. Baltimore has been trying to trade him with no takers.
