MLB.TV and At-bat for iPhone
If you have At-bat for the iPhone (a stunning value at $10) and a subscription to MLB.TV, there is now an update available to At-bat which will allow you to watch *any* game on your iPhone. The first time you select a non-free game from the list and touch the TV button, it will ask you once for your MLB.TV username and password, and after that, you're home free.
Granted, this is still subject to blackout restrictions (stupid, stupid MLB), but having the option to watch (almost) any game at any time is still pretty cool.

Wow.
I know I sound geeky saying this, but iPhone’s are amazing.
And for once MLB is NOT ripping fans off. What the hell is going on?! I have a feeling this lasts for one season and next year they go back to the old song and dance of ripping people off.

No you don't sound geeky. You sound like someone who has one.
Boyfriend recently got an Iphone, I love how easy it is use. (My phone is old enough that it cant even take pictures.)
We’ve talked about getting that app, maybe that will be the tipping point. :)

Well
I paid $10 for the app, and $110 for MLB.TV (at the beginning of the season). I see no reason why they would change that pricing model next year. The $10 app then just becomes another (paid) way to reel folks into the pricier service.
That said, I still think it’s a heckuva nice feature.

really might have to pull the trigger
on an iTouch soon. Especially if they come out with the camera I keep hearing rumblings about. Really could be fun.

I'm not arguing for the MLB
but I could see them charging for mobile streaming, which is a different service than what you signed up for. I think the $110 price for MLB.tv is very fair (considering you can watch all the games and watch archived games). $10 for the at bat app is definitely a fair price considering you get video highlights and audio.

Best value in IPhone history
I’ll admit to being skeptical about how good this would be, but it has paid for itself 100,000 times over. Audio and gameday included, video highlights, condensed games, and now this.
They should probably not blackout games on a 3 inch screen, but I suppose that I shouldn’t get too greedy
Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.

This is really something MLB got right
Wish the NFL would… in order to use their app you have to have the Ticket and pay $80.
And thats games once a week, not a dozen every day.
