but I’m a little discouraged after hearing “Lidge and his 7+ ERA in non-close situations” and “Park was out of the rotation after having a 7+ ERA” result in a single baserunner.

Also, with the game in extras, why is Marshall being used as a lefty specialist. Seems like an ideal time for him to pitch for 2-4 innings.

this shit is unacceptable for this kind of team. Players need to be held responsible. Players that are not hitting deserve to ride the bench. To strikeout 11 times and go hitless the last 6 is a complete and utter joke.

hed call Fuld back up, start him in center and start Fox in right.

Bat Fuld leadoff, bat Fox five and try to light a fire. Let Kosuke ride the bench, let Alf take some days off, put Milton in a cave, sit Reed.

To keep compusure, to not melt down when a call doesn’t go his way, to not walk the ballpark, not throw at hitters etc. etc.

I know he’s been O.K. lately, but I hate when people use the term “ace” to describe him.

There are very few “aces” Halladay, Lincecum, Carpenter, Haren, Santana and a handful of others.
