I believe I'm as optimistic as anyone on this board...
but I’m a little discouraged after hearing “Lidge and his 7+ ERA in non-close situations” and “Park was out of the rotation after having a 7+ ERA” result in a single baserunner.
Also, with the game in extras, why is Marshall being used as a lefty specialist. Seems like an ideal time for him to pitch for 2-4 innings.

I’d also like someone who’s considered a good baseball mind. We’ve hired enough of the “reputation” guys like Dusty and Lou. It hasn’t worked
