I wish Lightning Boy the best...

…but I am not unhappy about this.

I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

O, beware, my lord, of jealousy! It is the green-eyed monster, which doth mock The meat it feeds on. That cuckold lives in bliss Who, certain of his fate, loves not his wronger; But O, what damned minutes tells he o’er Who dotes, yet doubts—suspects, yet strongly loves!

Forget all that other stuff. I gotta believe.

as long as Geoff Blum

decides not to reprise his role as Resident Cubs Killer, I will not complain about Berkman finding the DL.

Ugh, that's right.

Two walkoffs in two games. DON’T PITCH TO BLUM!

They can pitch to him.

Just not in ‘close and late’ situations. Then avoid him like the plague.

I wish him well, sucks to see anyone get injured

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out

I never want to see anyone injured

and with almost the same intensity, I never want to see those “Little Puma” costumed fans again, too, so I’m divided on this one.

Randy Wells - You continue to astound me.

GOOD.

I can’t stand the “I don’t want somebody to get hurt” trademark statements. I don’t want a guy to die or go to jail or have a career injury, but this is none of those We need to win, and we need to win now. If it makes them worse, I’m all for it.

Wow, I don't wish the injury on anyone...

but if it helps us win while I’m in town, that’s alright.
