Possibly the biggest two home series to date

Cubs play two division opponents this weekend and early next in 6-game homestand. Cincinnati who are fading as I thought now 6 games back and below .500, and Houston who is now charging tied with the Cubs but with the prospects of Berkman going on the DL

Houston is pitted against the disappointing Mets who are on the verge of falling into the early also rans then coming to Chicago. St. Louis is pitted against Philly and then come home to play the Dodgers, they will be happy to go 3-3 with that stretch where then they have a follow up weekend with Houston.Brewers have the tough Braves and then hapless Nat's.

Cubs could make some hay here and work themselves into first place while still having to make up a handful of games on the Cards and Astros. This is a big stretch.....go Cubs and win 5 of 6!
