what's so classic
is that the guys who hit in GIDP with RISP are not guys that hit into a lot of double plays. Its like russian roulette. Either way, the offense just seems to have lost all life today. I’m not pinning it all on Soriano – with guys like Fontenot and Dome in the lineup you’ve got real problems.

He had two days of rest
he can’t start hitting again without being in the lineup. Fuld is a nice backup. He’s been dazzling in two games. But he’s not a replacement starting outfielder.

im not saying long term.
but short term while he is hot and b4 teams get scouting reports. like fontenot two years ago for a month. scales for a couple of weeks. pie when he got his initial call up. i could go on and on.
