Yeah, I know...
I had six or seven options with this sequence, ranging from the ball entering Hill’s glove to the ump calling Suppan out, but I just kept coming back to this one, mostly for the eyes.

What type of equipment do you use to take these, and where were you sitting? It’s a great picture and I love taking photos at games, but I’ve never gotten anything nearly this good…

Well,
right now I’m using a Canon 50D, with a 70-200mm 2.8. The equipment varies though.
I’m in the club boxes, directly behind the photo bay, and a few rows up. I try to stay with standard shooting locations for baseball when I go to games; I’m a newbie, so it helps with keeping the backgrounds clean.
