Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

I guess for some reason the ump must apparently be some sort of fan of the Cubs according to Hawkins.

LaTroy never changes

I've seen enough Cubs games

to know that none of the umpires are fans.

I really hate this guy

I don’t think I’ve ever hated a single player more than I hate this guy

Aaron is a stand-up guy

He sucks, but at least he doesn’t try to blame the media, the fans, the umps, or the clouds being in his eyes.

LaTroy is a worthless person.

Bonds?

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out

Last I heard...

…MLB was reviewing the incident. I wonder whether they’ll take harsher action against LaTroy for making a comment like that. To accuse an umpire of bias – and then to refuse to apologize for the remark later – would seem a pretty significant offense.

I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

silly LaTrine

He can throw a fastball at 87MPH and make you look like a fool. He can spray lines drives to right field. He can put up with crappy offense and take the loss. He is Randy Wells. He is the most interesting pitcher in the world. Stay healthy, my friends.

Don't miss the best follow up post to the article

would be nice for Wrigley to try to get him worked up

Poor LaToya

Shame he still thinks it’s everybody’s fault but his own…

I really hated him when he was a Cub. Looks like some things never change…
