I hope this is true...
bu this article is just speculation. I heard Lou’s comments too. Let’s see if he develops a spine now or just pulls the same old routine.

Uugh, that's why writing today can suck.
I read the first paragraph & that was it because I didn’t have time to read the whole article. That paragraph sounded pretty definite.

More importantly from that link...
Piniella blamed himself for not pleading for Fox to be called up to play third after Aramis Ramirez was injured May 8. The success of Fox, Fuld, Randy Wells and Andres Blanco has opened Piniella’s eyes.

The only thing that opens Lou's eyes
is Alan Trammell, waking Lou up to tell him the games’ over.

The detrimental affects of this
I’ve been reading the Fontenot demotion debate on here and I’m really starting to believe had he stayed at 2B he would be out of this funk already. We’ve seen him go into hot/cold stretches the last two years.
Fox playing every day 2 months ago could have potentially added 5 wins to our team. I’m not saying Fox is responsible for 5 extra wins but removing a non-hitting Miles or Fontenot from the lineup increases our chances of winning.

BCB should have some input in managerial decisions...
How long were we calling for Fox to be up here before they finally did it?
Someday we'll go all the way...

Perhaps Lou or Jim received a memo from Ricketts

The I-Cubs are so tight they seem to relish each other’s success more than their own.
So. Hoffpauir, Fox, Wells, Fuld. All products of our minor-league system, or at least, long-term AAA players.
But our minor-league system isn’t worth a bag of balls, right?
I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. [ibid] This is the kind of fan I am.

Well, I guess the speculation was wrong.

Looks that way
I didn’t hear Fuld leading off in any of the reports. Just Sori moving down…

TWSS
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.
