HD TBD or reg EI?

HD Quality pitcher with bad announcers or regular picture in Extra Innings. Which would you do?

regular announcers.

or HD with mute, and WGN on the radio.

In CT

No WGN radio :(

by ak123 on Jul 5, 2009 1:21 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

HD video and WGN radio audio

If MLB-AM (producers of MLB.TV & gameday audio) would finally get their act together, I would go for Pat and Ron with HD video, but Len and Bob aren’t a poor alternative. The cubs are lucky, imho, to have two good announcer teams working their games.

by eths on Jul 5, 2009 2:19 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Probably TBS

Martinez has the most annoying voice ever created and if you can handle the delay mute the tv and listen to Pat and Ron!

I'm going with

Len and Bob on EI.

Hey quick question.

I’m trying to post pics from the PNC Park series. How do I do that using photobucket? It’s been awhile.

And are you trying to post them as a FanShot?

Probably just want to post a link to an album, then

If that sort of thing exists in Photobucket. I’ve never used Photobucket though, so I’m not real sure how that would work. If SWL happens along, he’d most likely be of more help…

I think the central is getting better organized

STL, MIL, and CHC seem to be picking it up while HOU, CIN, and PIT are starting to show signs of weakness. My fearless predication for July 31st.
1st: Cubs
2nd: Stl – 2 1/2 GB
3 rd Mil – 4 GB
4th Cin – 5.5 GB
5th Hou – 7 GB
6th PIT – 10 GB

Ok.. let me have it..

I love Derrek

but if there was a chance to move him, right now would definitely be the best time to do that. Not saying we should necessarily but his value can’t get much higher, especially with his big contract.

Which is why I said that trading him probably isn’t the best option, but if we could get some high end talent for him then I think you would have to look at the possibility.

Crowd atmosphere on TV

Is it just me or is there something about the crowd today? They seem more alive in this game than any other the year. Like how it was in 2008.

When I came to Wrigley earlier in the year (when they were on a 5 game streak) they were dead for the most part and that was at 3 games.

More than just the knee?

I’m wondering if Sori is nursing another injury, like his hip or ankle.

I think people are

giving the injury too much credit. I don’t think he appears to be that injured. He’s mentally not there.
