hah been busy!
last week I was vacationing in the Caribbean and the weekend before was in Boston. between that I have been volunteering at a non profit organization during the day. good stuff. seems like I missed alot last week

but there is something to be said for the fact that he is not hitting with risp.
he did have some clutch hits in the beginning of the year however.

Vasquez will come apart at the seems, Cubs just have to take more pitches.

he is making a lot of good pitches. he has been nasty this year.
We took a lot of pitches earlier and were fouling off some nasty ones and he kept making more. that should be the plan to try to get his pitch count up and get him out early.

he has not been stretched out in awhile. we got harden, lilly, wells, & big z. who would you want him to start for. and keep in mind marshall is a lot more effective as reliever than starter when he doesn’t have to go through the line up multiple times.

Cubs offense still pretty weak
Even during this nice streak the offense outside of DLee has only driven in 10 runs over what will be 5 games (counting this one). Lee has truly carried this club

baseball is a funny game.
D-lee is absolutely locked in. Red hot and has great career numbers facing Vazquez. struck out in his first at bat and hit weak ground out in his second. and chases ball four to strike out in his third at bat.
