Wow...
After that replay, the ball was literally still 4 feet away from his glove by the time Dome was in safe.
Someday we'll go all the way...
They better get that call back or...or...something.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

man, i know it is time to drop it....but we just never seem to get those kind of calls
or the dropped fly ball for an error or the ball lost in the sun.
sure we do
Braun dropped a ball, and didn’t Escobar have two errors the other day?

Any chance we bean Escobar if this game gets out of hand?
He pretended to get hit by a pitch in Atlanta, and got a free base out of it.

It did seem ridiculous at first...
…but I kinda came around to see the point.
Command is a pitcher’s ability to move the ball around inside the strike zone.
Control is a pitcher’s ability to control the baseball both inside and outside the strike zone.

So
if you just throw any strikes you have control.
But if you can locate your pitches within the zone then your commanding your pitches?
