Here is a video of the Jake Fox home run from Sunday's game. This is a cool perspective from Waveland Avenue. The ballhawk filming the video actually makes the catch. Pretty neat to see how it all transpires out there.

Double Rec'd.
That is freakin’ awesome. Is that Ballhawk Ken who comes in at the very end? I’ll be interested to read his comments on this vid. Great job.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

+1 Interested to hear Ballhawk Ken's comments.

Me too.
Going by his picture on Twitter, that might be him at the very end of the clip. Not sure.

Actually, you can see me in the beginning of the video
standing in the crosswalk wearing red shirt. I was playing Fox more towards straightaway left instead of dead pull.
Ballhawk Dave has taken the old adage “use two hands” to a new level by filming his catches. It’ll be interesting to see what the next generation of technology will do for ballhawks…

Ah, OK.
I’ll have to watch it again. One hell of a cool video – I can definitely get a sense of why you do what you do.

That is pretty cool and pretty ridiculous (in a good way).
Good stuff.

Rec'd also.
Extremely cool. In a couple of the shots you can see our group in the back corner of the LF bleachers (all the way at the end).

If anyone has played Mirrors Edge
Right before he makes the catch is the exact same feeling as playing that game.

I really want to like this
but all the weird sideways angles make me feel ill.
Still, rec’d. Those of you with good vision may like it. :-)

It's like "Major League" crossed with "The Blair Witch Project".

Well, if that ballhawk video bothered you...
…Blair Witch would probably drive you crazy. It was filmed entirely with handheld cameras. It’s pretty scary, too. The last half at least.

Blair Witch I can understand not seeing
I purposely didn’t. I realized that just isn’t my kind of movie.
But Major League? That should be added to the list of movies I am surprised Allie has never seen. :)

I brought that movie into Religious Ed once Why?
I needed to pose a question to my pastor, my teacher, and the other kids in class: Is Pedro Cerrano right? Jesus can’t hit a curveball?

I don't know
I was sent home. To me, I thought it was one of those ultimate life questions in which our very existence is based on. To them, it was being an idiot and making fun of Jesus. Looking back, the right stance on the situation is that the question is somewhere in the middle.

Wow
So what happens if two or more ballhawks play a certain player to the same area….does one get mad at the other? is it whoever gets to the spot first? is there some kind of ballhawk etiquette? We need to get a ballhawk wikipedia going, this stuff is interesting!
Also love the blue glove. I had one as a kid.

Oh and absolutely awesome video
On TV you obviously only see an overhead view. We don’t see that view usually unless its the playoffs. We will probably never see that view catch the ball ever again.

I felt like I was watching Cloverfield there for a second
but thats amazing….and why did that kid smell the ball?
Okay, just so I understand it... in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.

Yeah, I thought that was weird, too.
