Another "Cubbie Occurrence"...

Man, will they NEVER end? Will this team EVER be fully healthy? Will Wayne marry Wanda? Will Snidely Whiplash kidnap sweet Nell and tie her to the railroad tracks? Will the sun come out tomorrow?

I bet my bottom dollar it will…

Quia tuum es fatum titulis discidiis,
vexillinis limbis nationalis,
gloriam seriis mundialisque,
Nunc et in saecula saeculorum...
Amen.

This is getting so old!!!!!!

But can somebody explain how a player can strain an oblique in BP when he does the same thing, swinging a bat, that he does many times every day and not have the injury happen? I’m starting to believe in Cubbie Occurences.

I would guess his feet slipped...

Something like that could tweak your back or shoulder if it messes with your follow thru

Hoodoo

In the old days this would qualify as a Hoodoo on the Cubs…..

A fatass hurts himself while doing a very basic activity.....

BIG SURPRISE. If he was in better shape this probably wouldn’t have happened. Out of shape professional athletes really get under my skin.

Oblique damaged...

…but not enough to warrant a immediate DL stint. Get ready for some Jake Fox catcher action (as putting Koyie Hill through a day-night doubleheader seems a bit unwise).
