Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

Cubs obviously in the top 5, but the Nationals...really? Kinda interesting though.

TMR Fan Cost Index

The TMR Fan Cost Index tells a lot about what it costs to go to various MLB stadiums. The Cubs are number 3 on the most expensive list behind the Yankees and Red Sox.

The Nationals

Their tickets are probably extremely cheap. That might be why.

$30.63

That’s the average price of a Nationals ticket.

Wow

That’s very surprising to me.

Nope

My upper deck season seat in Baltimore is $13. The same seat I had last season in DC is $24.

I was looking at tickets for the Cubs/Nationals game next weekend

and was a little surprised at how much the tickets cost. Of course, I live in Atlanta and the tickets here are VERY cheap.

The Nationals...

price their team like the Yankees, but field a minor league team. Its an absolute scandal. The city paid $600 M for their ballpark, and first thing they did was withhold rent because some offices weren’t completed on time. They are alienating fans in DC very quickly.

Add in the fact

that most of the Cubs series are “Prime Games,” making things that much more expensive.
